Today’s Dowsed Daily Inspiration if you choose to explore is…Happiness?????
Happiness is often an elusive state of being. Something may create a feeling of happiness in you for a short time, and then you begin searching for the next thing that will create that feeling of happiness. Often you then long for that thing to happen, or you are able to purchase that item that you have coveted forever and it finally happens and you are happy, but; for how long? Those things that you felt would make you happy last month and you finally attained it, no longer makes you happy. Why is it we spend all our time searching for those things that will make us happy and very little time being happy with what we have now?
Happiness is a state of contentment, it is a state of being we can choose to experience as our normal state or it can be a search for the next gratification. Happiness is a state of acceptance for all that is in this moment. If you choose Not to be happy no amount of intervention by someone else can make you happy, oh you may experience momentary perception of the emotion or happiness but it is not sustaining.

REFLECTIONS
Reflect on what this message means to you. What are you waiting for that will 'make' you happy? Do you NEED something outside of yourself to MAKE you happy? Is it possible to 'MAKE' anyone happy or is it simply a state of being? Do you spend time trying to 'make' someone else time? Do you think that will work? Do people who require you to behave in certain ways to 'make' them happy deserve this or will they simply demand more from you once they have programmed you with that particular behaviour that they currently require of you?
